- Planning programs and events which include speakers, films, and forums
- Publishing our newsletter The Journey
- Celebrating holidays such as Rev. Dr.Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday and Black History Month
- Hosting our annual Community Multicultural Workshop
- Facilitating discussion groups where people can share perspectives and world views
- Providing opportunities for international residents and newcomers to meet and enjoy informal conversation.
- Speaking to groups such as Rotary; library volunteers, the board of A Better Chance, etc., and other community groups
- Writing letters to the editor and guest columns in our local newspapers
- By bringing a multicultural perspective to individual conversations and meetings in our faith communities, schools, and community organizations
- Meeting with town officials and members of the town’s volunteer boards
- Holding information sessions to inform the community about our mission and activities
- Serving as a resource for other town organizations
- Representing the Network at town and regional committees and organizations such as the Winchester Reads Committee, the Massachusetts Human Rights Commission meetings, etc.
