Jennifer Harvey’s book, Raising White Kids: Bringing up Children in a Racially Unjust America, offers guidance and specific strategies for navigating our racially divided world for parents (and other caretakers) of white children. Using this book as a guide, we will practice responses to challenging situations. Participants in this facilitated discussion will benefit from reading the book ahead of time, but it’s not required. RSVPs are helpful but not necessary—FRR@follen.org.
