Dessert reception follows. Suggested donation $10 to $20.

Meet Dr. Amanda Kemp, author of Say the Wrong Thing and creator of the Racial Justice from the H.E.A.R.T. Method.

Join us for a rare opportunity to meet an African-American racial justice mentor. Dr. Amanda Kemp has a special gift for all of us who are afraid to say the wrong thing when we talk about race. She offers clear advice for staying mindful and finding our voice. Dr.Kemp grew up in foster care in the Bronx. A Stanford graduate with a PhD from Northwestern, she has over a decade of college teaching experience. Since her first antiapartheid march in 1983, she has advocated for racial justice and authentic community. Sponsored by the Racial Justice Action Group, First Parish in Concord (UU), and The Robbins House, Concord’s African American History Museum.

For more information contact Mary Ann Barton, by email or call 978-580-5852.
