Join us for an evening of learning more about the LGBTQIA+ community as members of SpeakOUT Boston share their personal stories. This event is co-sponsored by the Winchester Multicultural Network and Parent to Parent.
SpeakOUT, formed in 1972, is a community of speakers working to create a world free of homo-bi-transphobia and other forms of prejudice by telling the truths of their lives. SpeakOUT’s motto is “Ask Us Anything,” so along with sharing their own experiences with the audience, there will be plenty of time for a dialogue and questions from all those who attend. Learn More.
About Parent to Parent
Parent to Parent is a community-based, non-profit organization which has provided education, support, and networking opportunities to Winchester parents since 1982. The organization seeks to enhance family communication, increase parents’ understanding of their child’s development, and strengthen the relationship between family and school.
Parent to Parent sponsors programs and speakers on a variety of topics. We typically host 10 or more programs for parents during the school year on a wide range of topics that are of interest to parents in the community. Examples include, but are not limited to, themes such as finding balance, limit setting, gender issues, peer pressure, substance abuse, social confidence, and much more. Learn More.
This event is free and all are welcome.
