Widely admired Boston songleader, composer, conductor and author, Nick Page is this year’s performer and song leader for the Multicultural and the Family Action Networks’ jointly sponsored Martin Luther King Day’s family celebration. He will perform and lead a sing-along on January 19th, from 4-5pm at the Winchester Unitarian Church’s Metcalf Hall.
Nick has an extensive background conducting children’s choirs and his community sing-a-longs draw raves: “boundless enthusiasm and ability for awakening song” “spiritual as well as funny . . . a precise and imaginative conductor” “embraces the whole world in his soul and in his music. He is a skillful, passionate, and respectful interpreter of world music.” Nick’s choral works have premiered everywhere from Lincoln Center to humble school cafitoriums. He is the author of three books and has close to one hundred published choral pieces.
