It was a lively gathering at La Patisserie the morning of November 17, between 8:30 and 10, when representatives from a broad spectrum of the community came to meet and greet our new Executive Director, Aba Taylor.

There were representatives from many different organizations, including faith communities, town officials, schools, and civic groups. We were pleased to see many of the Network’s friends, new and old, including founding Board members Jane Lynch and Barry Kahn and former board members Dotty Burstein and John Suhrbier.

For Aba it was an overwhelming pleasure (“awesome”) to be so warmly welcomed at her introduction to the community.

Founder Sandy Thompson noted, “It is both inspiring and energizing to have such community interest in our organization—and bodes well for future collaborations.”
