The International Connections Thursday morning coffee group had a tour of the Winchester Police Department on Thursday morning, November 5.

Chief of Police, Kenneth Albertelli, has long been a Community Advisor to our Network.

Lieutenant-in-Charge Peter MacDonnell answered a range of questions, taught the group about police procedures and regulations, showed us the “inner spaces” for holding adults in cells, the muster room for shift roll calls, and the dispatch room.

The police force has 40 officers, two are women. They work in three shifts and have assigned areas in the town which they patrol.
