On April 6, the Network will be partnering with the Winchester Disability Access Commission and Brio Integrated Theater for Winchester’s fifth Light it Up Blue event to be held indoors this year at the Winchester Town Hall.
The event will open with Winchester collage artist, John Williams and Jen Flaherty, a Lynch special education teacher who initiated the first Light it Up Blue event in Winchester. Jennifer Flaherty is also a Winchester Multicultural Network March Women’s History Month Honoree for her dedicated work with Special Need Youth and for Light It Up Blue.
The evening starts at 7:00 with giveaways, a puppet show, balloons and lots of fun! The event will culminate by Winchester turning on its blue lights!
Appreciations to Anne Kostos, our town ADA Coordinator, the Winchester Disability Access Commission and the Winchester DPW for making this event possible.
